I am excited about trying the caulk technique - is that caulk you put around the bath!? And also the gel method, they look great.

Central Saint Martins summer workshop

I thought I'd go along to a week long summer course run by the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design back in July. It was mostly a refresher for me in techniques such as mono drawing and mono painting. What I really wanted to learn about was the tutor's image transfer techniques.

I along with nigh on hundreds (well OK, maybe 50+) of interested people attended Fablab Brighton's official announcement evening at Rodhus studios - yes my studios!

Its all happening at Rodhus

My newish studio space at Rodhus is quickly becoming part of an expanding designer and maker community. We have upholsterers, fashion designers, furniture makers, artists and screenprinters now in residence.
Also taking occupancy upstairs will be Fablab Brighton. They will provide equipment for the community to manufacture whatever they imagine! Can't wait to see some of the results!
